Unable to install Opera on Windows 10 computer just sits on this page.

The lack of support on just installing the browser leads me to think that at a later date if I have problems there will be none.

Something is preventing the installer from downloading the rest of the files. If you have those rights on that machine you could try allowing the installer; alternatively you can download the offline (full) installer and use that instead of the regular installer.
