<![CDATA[Can Aria actually surf the web and have access to the web content?]]>The Aria feature page https://www.opera.com/features/aria
seems to suggest that Aria has access to the current displayed web page and its content.
the page touts:

  • "real-time access to the web"
  • "No more digging through webpages for the info you need. Aria gives you clear answers instantly"
  • "Opera’s free AI is connected to the web"

but everytime I summon it or asked information, even as simple as "summarize" I get this warning

  • "I don't have access to information about the current page you are viewing or your location."
  • "I'm sorry, I don't have an answer for that. Please rephrase your question or provide more details."

So which one is? Does Aria have or not access to the webpage displayed in an opera tab and can we ask questions about it? ❓

Great question! While the Aria feature page suggests real-time web access, Aria doesn't currently have direct access to the content of the tab you're viewing. You’d need to copy and paste the page content or link into the chat for it to provide a summary or answer questions about it.
