I personally rename it by appending "_old" to the folder. To find the path Menu >> Help >> About - Paths

Possible location:
C:\Users\myusername\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable\

Just rename "Opera Stable" to "Opera Stable_old"
