Maybe there's a similar issue with your drivers on Win11. Something to investigate at least.

ok that make sence, but explain me how it is possible that i was able to listen music on 5.1 before (on win 10) and not now, youtube changed way how they stream or my drivers are not able to decode stereo to 5.1 ?

I don't think it's anything on your end. Just think the Youtube video in question (which uses opus as the audio codec) is just stereo. Logs show that it's just in stereo too.

"C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Programs\Opera\opera.exe" --try-supported-channel-layouts --force-wave-audio --disable-audio-output-resampler

(Adjust path to your opera.exe)

Then, try it to see how it works in Opera.

Thanks for the "Recent Players" pic, but we need the full log. Close Opera, start Opera, go directly to the test Youtube video and try to play it. Then, goto the URL opera://media-internals, click "copy all to clipboard", hit ctrl + c, open Notepad++, hit ctrl + v to paste into it, hit ctrl + a to select everything, hit ctrl + tab to indent the selection by 4 spaces, hit ctrl + c to copy the selection and hit ctrl + v here to paste it, which will paste it as code since it'll be indented by 4 spaces. HI, Yes its regular Opera One last version,
any source like youtube and so on will play only stereo, in windows apps all works ok.
Vivaldy play only stereo as well.

I chose 5.1 Surround Sound System Test in youtube:

What about sound card its onboard Realtek S1220A 7.1 Surround Sound High Definition Audio CODEC

I already check manny setups and settings in win nothing helps, like i set when i play let say movie from win media player all works great, even mp3 music its decoded to 5.1 sound over any player.

Does it also fail in Vivaldi?

After trying to play the audio, open up a new tab, goto the URL opera://media-internals and see what errors you get for the audio in the log.

What specific audio device (brand and model) do you have? Also, is it an onboard or pci-e one or is it a USB-based one?
