Why does this just not work?</p>
<p dir="auto">If I manually go add the passwords then they work but Opera never prompts me to save them when I'm actually logging in.</p>
<p dir="auto">It seems trivial but over time this has become frustrating. Every other browser in the world does this seamlessly.</p>
<p dir="auto">Is there a way to make it work?  Nothing I've read so far helps.</p>

<p dir="auto">Does Opera ask you in a test <a href="https://reddit.com/r/operabrowser/wiki/opera/new_profile/#wiki_standalone_installation" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">standalone installation</a> at least or no there too?</p>
