Whenever I try to insert an image in a signature (using a URL) Mail crashes as soon as I hit CTRL-V. The URL is valid so it isn't that. It is simply that whenever I try to insert something OM crashes. Has anyone who uses OM had any success inserting an image into a signature, and if so, how?

Thanks.

I'll try it. Interesting that M2 in O12.x didn't have that same bug but the stand-alone version does.

Close down Opera Mail and edit the signatureN.txt (where N is the number for the account as seen in accounts.ini) and add the HTML image markup to load the pic.

For example:

![](http://www.google.com/image/logo.gif)

And it crashes everytime I try to add an image link to the signature. And just for clarification, it is not only typing "CTRL-V" to paste in a link that crashes it, any attempt to insert ANYTHING in the entry box crashes Opera Mail.

You have to use HTML formatting to accomplish this.
