I'm writing books and short stories in my mothers language German. The first of my stories are online and I want every person to be able to read it in his/her "madrelingua".
My first idea to realize it is to present the (German) text in a 2-column html page where the second column could contain the translated text. I also want the user to be able to change the target language (where should be translated to - this may be realized in html & javascript).

On Android mobile devices I saw a translation of all visited websites into the desired language automatically.
On Windows computers "google translate plugin" maybe do this.

I prefer to browse with opera (the PortableApp version).

Does anybody has some idea how I could realize my desire? I try to summarize: I want an automatic translation into the second row of a html-table (where in the first row stays the original - here in German). This translation into the second column should be done as soon as the user enters te page (maybe in the background - it takes time). And how could I invoke/program such an automatic service out of html?

Thanks for your attention.

Pinie
