<![CDATA[Opera won't connect to some sites while firefox will]]>So I have this strange thing that happened. I was on vacation in a hotel for 8 nights. While at this hotel on the hotel's wife Opera would work just fine for gmail, facebook, and youtube, but simply would not connect to reddit or other websites. I could open up firefox and safari just fine.

Now, back at my work, I just tried to get on amazon. Opera simply would not connect. However, I could open firefox and connect just fine.

Any idea what is going on?

Try turning it off if it is.

Or you have a proxy set in Opera? MAy be the hotels WLAN has a filter?
