<![CDATA[Extension blocklist/blacklist in Opera]]>Hi,

I'm comparing the extension systems of various browsers and could not find any information if Opera supports the blocking/removal of malicious extensions similar to Firefox or Chrome.

I'm aware of the review process, but is there a mechanism to detect and block malicious extensions that are already installed on the system (by malware or from other sources)?

We've identified this extension as malicious and have blacklisted it. This means it can no longer cause any damage to your machine. You can leave it as is, or remove it.

Opera has blocked and blacklisted my idm extension and i don't know how to restore it plz help

Opera blocked TS MAGICK PLAYER. May bee i want to decide use that plug in or no? Why you dont block youtube video downloading plugins? they dont download video higher then 1080 and adds some advertisement to youtube page. And they still working perfectly

We have a blacklist. It's checked periodically by the browser. Extensions found on the list are disabled.
