<![CDATA[Open HTML page on cell phone]]>I keep useful personal information as html pages on my cell phone. Using Opera Mobile, I can access these pages. For example, Opera Mobile can load the following page:

My problem is that I have not discovered how to load this page or others like it into Opera Mini. When I enter this URL into Opera Mini, it replies that it does not recognize "file:" as a web host. Can Opera Mini load html pages that are stored on the cell phone? If so, what is the proper way to address such pages?

Perhaps I should add that I am using a HTC Droid Incredible 2, running Android 2.3.4.

Upload the page to a cloud storage site like Dropbox and access it from within there.

If you can save the page online (eg upload to your my opera account) you can then view the file in opera mini 😉

All page handling is done on a server, which then passes on the web page in a special format to the Opera Mini client.

This is why Opera Mini can run on low-end phones: The heavy lifting (web page handling) is done on our servers rather than on the phone.
