A black square appeared in the centre of my desktop with the big O that usually shows up when Opera is updated, but it hanged and crashed, the box disappeared and Opera never ran.

I tried to clear cache and restart, but... Then backed up User folders and manually cleared installation Opera folder and reinstalled but in vain!

Any advice? I have everything tied up to Opera and feel kinda stripped naked now! lol

Simply deleting files/folders leaves crap behind. After running Revo to uninstall Opera, be sure to run the extra option to clean out all traces of Opera from Registry, etc. Then try reinstalling Opera again.
