<![CDATA[Is Opera safe?]]>used opera for a long time but I was wondering how they make money from the browser, since most of the things in the app are free, there are no ads so I was wondering if they sold data, and I also didn't trust the VPN much because I don't know where my data is going.

We all know that its main edge over other browsers is its built-in VPN and ad blocker feature. I have downloaded malicious sites' content and many risky sites' content on Opera, and it is always proved safe for my device. Now, Opera (https://www.opera.com) is my default browser on my mobile phone, iPad, and PCs also.

Like (almost) all other browsers, Opera gets its revenue mainly from searches and from promoted bookmarks/speed dials.
