the way opera is being slow might be:

1. your pc/phone is running too many stuff in the background.
2. opera gx has alot of stuff so it will lag.
3. you have a tab that affects the browser

those two might be the problem.

It's running on PC and it's not the GX browser, the regular one. I'm not sure which tab would affect performance.

There's only six tabs open: Outlook, Youtube, Discord.

those two might be the problem.

I've been trying to hold back on making this post but the fact it takes four-five seconds to load a page is wild. The browser is overall choppy, not too slow but annoying. I'm on Windows and it was never this slow until lately. Like a couple of months.

I'm not too sure what to do anymore. I did turn off Hardware acceleration. Please help!

I used to love Opera for what it was, but it's become so slow lately I'm at a loss on what to do now. It's not insanely slow, just sluggish. Like it feels like it's trying hard rather than be smooth. I do not know what to do anymore to try and fix this. It takes like 4 seconds to load a page.

Not to mention my taskmanager is always so high because of Opera when there's only like five tabs open.

How can I fix this?
