<![CDATA[Stop new tabs opening on startup]]>Not sure why it is doing this, but Opera is opening extra tabs that weren't open when I finished my last session.

It loads a new home tab and a tab to login to my password manager.

How do I stop this?

Assume you knew that would happen. I should have explicitly mentioned that you'd lose all opened windows and tabs and the recently-closed tabs list would be cleared.

I gave it a go, and when I reopened Opera I nearly had a heart attack! I currently have 5 workspaces and multiple tabs within each ... and they were all gone! I typically permanent delete, but this time thought I wouldn't so I've restored the sessions and all is good again. I guess I'll just have to continue to close the start page every day. I appreciate everyone's help. 🙂

Close Opera and delete the "Sessions" folder in the profile folder.

"Begin fresh with start page" unselected
"Retain tabs from previous session: selected
"Display the start page first" slider is off
As far as I can see, my Opera browser should not open a start page when I open it. But it does every time.
