Same here.
Not only that but many media files now lack video, only playing audio, and youtube even tells me , sometimes, that my browser can not play the video.

They (opera) did 'f up something recently , for sure.

Just drop this browser : considering the abysmal reply rate from the devs or even moderation on support forums , I'll give them the same amount of attention they give us: zero .
Reverted back to Firefox and I'm quite happy: everything works perfectly, nothing lags like mad for no reason .
I see no reasons why I would miss Opera

Like when I type it shows a letter after like 2 seconds and when I watch it goes on 480p and when I change to 1080p it waits for no reason. YouTube worked like a few days ago, but now it works like I had an internet connection of 10mb/s (but I have like 200mb/s) and Intel Pentium 10 (I have i5-10400F)

When you go to YouTube, a process appears that loads the CPU.
If you close the browser, this process remains and continues to load

i often need to open a lot of videos on youtube (can reach 10-20 tabs)
i can do it fine in google chrome or literally in any other browser but opera gx is the one taking a shit, no limiters are turned on, vpn is off
my hardware is gtx 1070 8gb vram, i7 7700HQ and 24 gigabytes of ram
ive tested this with my friend and he doesnt even have a graphics card and a barely keeping up cpu, his fucking video loaded in like 1.5 seconds, i had to wait 12 seconds for it to load fully almost like my laptop can compare to a elevator holy shit guys
specific: audio and video loads the fastest but then the whole youtube tab freezes and the UI takes to load the longest which is annoying because you cant control the video in any way, you cant skip, you cant forward, you cant stop it nothing you just need to kurwa wait
do you know how can i fix this? i appreciate every comment
