Syncronization must be at least as good as Chrome. And that means syncing:

1. Settings
2. Favorites
3. Speed dial
4. Passwords
5. Extensions
6. Open tabs
7. History
8. Autofill
9. Themes

Extra points (a lot of them actually) for syncing extension settings. Ideally I would like to sign in and have my Opera exactly the way it was last time I used it.
