<![CDATA[[Duplicated]Drag & Drop is not working]]>Hello there,

For some reason, I can't drag any file (pdf, image, etc.) into Opera browser (both Opera and GX). There is a forbidden icon shows up when I try to drag any object. I don't know why it happens. I tried to do it with other browsers and it works. I can't drag even a picture into whatsapp to send. This is so annoying. I reinstalled both browsers but couldn't solve the problem. Can anyone help me please?

  1. Download the Opera GX installer and install it in any other location convenient for you other than installing the previous Opera. I guess you should install it at same disk for this method to work.
  2. Now you have two Opera browsers, you should go to the new one and check that bookmarks and add-ons with passwords are in place, it’s better to make a backup just in case. Check that when you open a new Opera the drag and drop feature works. When you are sure that everything is fine, you can remove the old Opera browser.
  3. Now you have one new Opera left, bookmarks, passwords and add-ons remain in place, and the function works.

I did these steps about 4-5 days ago and since then everything has been working fine

I have 2 computers, and I have this issue only in one of them. I don't know how to solve and I use this feature all the day.
What a shame. I love this browser but I need to work faster.

What nonsense.. I hope you guys find a solution here or Opera will fix this bug
