<![CDATA[Imap not working for me in Opera mail since switching from Opera 12.7]]>Hi,

I've been using the older Opera with integrated mail client for 10 years and all my mail accounts set yo IMAP worked fine (i.e when I deleted an email in Opera, it would no longer show up in my Android Email app in my tablets/smartphone). Now I've switched to using the newer Opera and Opera mail and have set up all my mail accounts to IMAP but the changes I make in sorting and deleting emails are no longer synced with the Android Email app.

How may I fix this ? It was working fine until I switched to the dedicated mail client.

Sometimes it takes a whiule for the phone's app to update the messages status.

Now I've switched to using the newer Opera and Opera mail and have set up all my mail accounts to IMAP but the changes I make in sorting and deleting emails are no longer synced with the Android Email app.

What kind of settings? Regarding deleted messages, are you emptying the trash after have deleted the messages?

I think I set up all my accounts in Opera Mail the same way I did when I was using Opera 12.17

I think I've noticed some mails go unmarked in my Android Email app IF I happen to read them in Opera Mail before they get synced in the app. But if I read them AFTER, then their going marked as "Read" never gets synced. I have to read each one manually in the app so they'll stop being highlighted as unread.

All of that, including the deletion of emails, used to sync itself both ways seamlessly before.

There really should be no difference between Mail in 12.17 and standalone Mail, if everything is configured the same. So check that the configuration is correct.

Also Opera Mail puts some of my mails in the Mailing lists tabs. How to not let it do that ? I want those mails in my inbox.

They should be in both. Check if "show mailing lists" is enabled for your inbox.
