<![CDATA[[Duplicated]"Ask where to save each file before downloading" doesn't work]]>Opera asks me where the file should get downloaded everytime I use "Save as..." even though I have the setting disabled for that. How can I fix this? (It's okay that it happens on .exe files but it happens on images as well)

Save as and save image as override that setting.

For it to work with an image, you'd have to left-click on a link to an image to navigate to it where the server sends the image with a Content-Disposition of attachment to tell the browser to download it instead of displaying it.
