Hope you can help me out here,

Iam having Sound/Audio issues only on certain websites, mainly websites using these types of players for example,

http://www.traxsource.com/label/4156/push-button-bang

The sound is very harsh with static, white noise etc, can hardly hear the sound playing under the noise. This only happens to me using opera browser (Opera 26) , Safari/Chrome play as expected and all Sound/Audio work fine.

All other aspects of Sound/Audio in opera is fine, other websites like youtube work great.

Any help would be great

Thanks

This item has now been resolved,

There seems to be a problem with my external sound card (MOTU) and the opera browser.

I passed this forum post and filed a bug report with them and it turns out there is a conflict between the MOTU sound card and the opera browser using certain media players.

SO Result, a fix is on its way for anyone else experiencing the same issues

Thanks guys

Does opera use a certain file or function to play then sort of players, used on the website in question.

Could there be a file or something missing from my machine (or opera) for that player to stop functioning?

So the the problem is with this mac. I contacted apple support today and they were unable to help, as this is an opera issue.

I tried to fully uninstall opera, reinstalled a new install and the issue is still there, vey annoying,

it seems im having issues with opera not liking some media players used on some websites.

It's been going on since I upgraded to OS X Yosemite (I was an early beta user, but static/white noise had continued even with current stable Yosemite).

Sometimes it does a very LOUD static noise when a Flash video first loads.. A fix I've found is to force quit coreaudiod using Activity Monitor and white noise/static issue goes away. Does this mean it's a Mac problem instead?
