<p dir="auto">Save as PDF is a more accurate description, really. It's just that print to PDF is often the best we've got.</p>

<p dir="auto">I found that Opera 19 loads PDF files just fine with any plugin — Adobe, Foxit, or PDF-XChange.</p>

If that's what the OP is trying to do I don't understand why if they have a PDF printer set up as a printer on their computer why it wouldn't appear as a printing option anyway, it's nothing to do with the browser itself.<br />

I would have thought that to be able to print PDF documents directly from the Opera browser you would need the Adobe Reader plugin, which should be there if you have Adobe Reader installed.<br />
