This Indian love astrologer nightly spam has to stop.

Does Opera not care? This is beyond embarrassing.

      Get your act together.

        Happy Birthday!

We already have a couple of threads about it.

Perhaps if you didn't tell it your birthday it uses November 30?

I guess it uses the info in your Opera account.

                              When did these forums start?

And perhaps what can be the default value(s) there upon registration?

Whoever it is, they've got Opera pretty well pegged. Spams burst in at various times of any day, usually two at a time (spaced within the 2-minute spam block window), then the username changes and two more arrive on the same theme, and so on, until the page is jammed with spam. Occasionally, there will be an off-baba-topic spam or two (usually some food/health supplement) interspersed during that same overall time block, then all the spam goes quiet for at least several hours. But the clustering in both time and subject matter is extremely unique and recurring, compared with the variety of spam I observed on other websites.

I've never encountered this same baba spam anywhere but here, and I've never seen spam elsewhere so persistently repetitive in topic, day after week after month. It's almost as if one "somebody" has Opera's forums wired into their personal spam generator...

I've never provided Opera any of my personal info, other than my email address, which was used to sign me up.

Oh look!, and it's even blackbirds birthday too. Happy Birthday! blackbird. 😃

Do a google search for "baba spam", "vashikaran spam" or "black magic spam", and you'll see these types of spam are a major issue on a lot of different forums.

Ahh... so it seems! Apparently, the various forums I routinely inhabit have either not yet come into this spammer's targeting system or else have some kind of Draconian blocking tools/techniques in place.

From what I was able to read in various Googled forum dialogues on the subject, the spammer appears to steadily register whole blocks of user-names, then peels them off in clumps and uses them in massive spam attacks that recur for weeks on end at any given forum. From various of those forum admin comments, it appears (based on the spammer's choice of user-names involving current events, sport figures, and culture in India) that he may indeed have his own connections there (apart from the client he most prominently spams for), though his IPs seem not to particularly emanate just from there. What he also seems to have is either a rather effective piece of spamming software or incredible patience.

However, what seems most baffling to me is how such out-of-touch spamming subject material on the targeted forums (even allowing for his pay-for-call phone numbers) can generate enough revenue to justify its nonetheless real operating costs/efforts...

It's baffling other than to say, there are none so blind as those who "will not see". In other words, suckers are born every minute and even one per hundred thousand is probably enough to generate income.
