<![CDATA[Opera vs Maxthon Cloud Browser]]>I downloaded maxthon recently and I found it amazing, it has many extra features and is much more customizable than Opera, but the available extensions do not convince me. It is better that Maxthon Opera ?, Why?

I've found it to be a little faster than Firefox, and with very few crashes. Maxthon does have a lot of skins, but not many extensions - for that, Firefox is unbeatable, and much better than either Opera or Chrome.

Opera 26 has I think, still got quite a long way to go before I can use it as my main browser.

And like Sidney, I'd be very careful about using a browser from China.

I "think" it uses the Trident rendering engine for Windows OS but I'm not sure. I think it has limited add-ons and those are third party. Plus if you do a little digging you'll discover a lot of complaints about it crashing frequently and causing many pages to hang. if you don't like Opera, try Firefox.
