<![CDATA[My version of Opera GX is outdated and however no update is available]]>My version of Opera GX is outdated and however no update has been available for over a week via the browser's internal update feature. (Windows 10 Pro, version 22h2, 64 bit)
Opera GX 102.0.4880.117 (Chromium version:116.0.5845.188)

The normal Opera browser 104.0.4944.36 (118.0.5993.118) was released two days ago.

I suspect that Opera GX is missing some bug fixes and especially updates for serious vulnerabilities that are already available for regular Opera. I am disappointed!

I feel very insecure using Opera GX and may want to switch browsers.

  • Why is the state with Opera GX still only an old version available?

  • Where can I find a up to date changelog for Opera GX?

  • Is security not mandatory for Opera GX?

It's good to know that the browser is being kept up to date. My issue is resolved.

I saw the changelog you mentioned earlier and was confused that the last entry was from October 2.

I have the impression that I can't check on which date Opera GX received the last update. The internal updater only states that Opera is up to date.

There is a changelog at https://forums.opera.com/topic/33033/opera-gx-update-released but it's not always up to date.
