<![CDATA["This site can’t provide a secure connection" Frequent error!]]>Hey all. Been a loyal Opera fan from the start in the late 90's. From then, till a few months ago, I had no reason to complain about our fav browser. Then the dreaded
This site can’t provide a secure connection began showing up. Fast forward to today, and roughly a third of all sites I try to visit give me the afore-mentioned message.

Sadly, I am being forced to use ... oh god, this is so hard...... FF!

I checked for similar posts here: last one was years ago, so... please let me know of a solution if you have one. Oh, tried the ideas to fix this found online: no go.

For the love of God, Save me from that other browser!!!!

My system:
ROG Strix 17inch

Processor 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700H 2.30 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

I use VMWare Workstation extensively, and their community forums are mostly useless. Not even sure why they have the damn things (community forums).

Anyway, keep this in mind: "For the record, all of my browsers were griping about this error. " When I say all of my browsers it's Opera, Chrome, Firefox and ugh, Edge. Your issue may be subtly different.

I would have thought that at least a few peeps here would chip in to help a fellow Opera fan. Well, since all but you do not give a crap, I have no choice but to end my time with Opera, and focus now on a browser that works as intended: FireFox

The problem turned out that I needed to install on my laptop the firewall key. Note this is on Windows, not the browser.

For the record, all of my browsers were griping about this error. Hope it helps.

Should have mentioned that I have tried the obvious: reinstalled Opera 1, tried a few older versions....all have this issue.
