<![CDATA[Auto update, how to turn off?]]>I never ever wanted an update, but Opera updated today without my permission to this new version.

I have read all postings on how to stop auto updating on the forums, but nothing seems to work.

Is there anyway to turn this auto update off, or do I simply have to give up on Opera and uninstall it?

This allows you to at least stay on the opera 99 version, but when you open the opera for the first time, a notification appears to get a security update. Close and reopen Opera and the notification will go away.
