<p dir="auto">I have read all postings on how to stop auto updating on the forums, but nothing seems to work.</p>
<p dir="auto">Is there anyway to turn this auto update off, or do I simply have to give up on Opera and uninstall it?</p>

<p dir="auto">This allows you to at least stay on the opera 99 version, but when you open the opera for the first time, a notification appears to get a security update. Close and reopen Opera and the notification will go away.</p>
