Agreed.

The privacy statement says:

After your session is complete, your chats will be stored locally, but will not be retained by OpenAI. Chats will be retained for 30 days, and then automatically deleted.

It's quite weird that Opera doesn't ask for permission before deleting locally stored chats.
(On desktop machines, chats are stored in stored in %appdata%\Opera Software\Opera Stable\Default\Local Extension Settings\)

And people have no clue when chats will be deleted, because the date of the chat or the number of days before deletion, is not displayed.
