after I installed version 18 [and now updated to version 19] I can no longer find the option to move the opera cache to a desired location
from what I understand by default its located in [windows 7] users\<profile name>\AppData\Local\Opera Software\Opera Stable\Cache

however about:config typed in browser doesnt list the option to change the path as it used to do in previous versions

also Preferences file located in users\<profile name>\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable\ doesnt have a corresponding string which could be altered

is there this funcionality/option to move the cache in the new opera? or has it been completely removed?

(per operating system installation (if you reinstall Windows make sure to redo MKLINK))

It's a shame Opera doesn't allow cache to be changed from app settings. Opera developers don't know how to do such a feature.

Also I requested Tab stacking feature, finally dev from Opera replied basically stating that they don't have the know how.

And I believe that. Vivaldi browser has Tab stacking made by ex-Opera dev.

The downside with this config is that the parameter must be added to every command where Opera is run from: every LNK shortcut, associations for *.htm files, HKLM\Software\Clients\StartMenuInternet for the Open With menu, etc. Otherwise Opera launched from those locations will use a copy of the cache in the original location.
