does somebody know how to show the X to close a tab everytime? Actually it is necessary to move the mouse over the tab which is not possible on tablets. Or Opera One should detect tablet mode in Windows....

[insert Futurama reference here]
The "X" for closing the active tab is always visible in the latest developer build (not just on mouse over).
Please make it always visible on inactive tabs too: I'm used to close inactive tabs using touch.
The extension "tab to window" creates a button on the top right when pinned. By touching it, it pops the tab out to a window and then you can close the window. Still have to do an extra touch, but it’s a bit faster than a long touch to bring up the menu and avoids accidently touching close all. I was bringing up the touch keyboard and using Ctrl+W to avoid accidently touching close all, but that was just as slow as a long touch and it was still a lot of extra unnecessary touches.

But, I feel ya.... I am also likely going to have to go back to a more standard browser if I can't manage tabs quickly and easily. Seems like the Opera Dev Ops team thinks everyone leaves all their tabs open all the time... maybe they haven't heard of History? If you can find a way on thos forum to escalate this issue back to #moderator or #OperaSupport - please advise. -- I have fought hard to keep my Opera browser and now they've pushed me toward Edge?!
