<![CDATA[certain pages won't load in Opera 17]]>Hello,

I like the new Opera a lot. I know, it's a lot like Chrome, but the Discover feature is just too cool and to be honest I never liked bookmarks all that much anyway. That is not why I write to you today. My question is why certain sites won't load, and just produce a tab which is completely blank, or which load the page for a fraction of a second and then go blank. The repeat offenders are architizer.com and salon.com. I can load the salon homepage but individual articles flash and then disappear.

Any opinions appreciated.

I browse Reddit and some posts result in a message, "cannot display this in a frame. Please click here to open in a new window". Doing so opens the post in the exact same tab I was in. Unsure why this happens. Only happens to a fraction of links.

in many occasions it just a blank white page (blinks on opening site, but goes white immediately), and if I leave it for some time...eventually it loads the content, after couple of minutes (not NSL)
It's not a Ghostery thing, or any other extensions...it seems random
same thing with sub-pages...

edit:strange, but with Salon.com is other way around
it loads sub page normally, but after a min or two, blank white page appears

i am keeping both v12.16 and v17, but my Opera17 just wont load any pages -- yes, ANY pages including Settings and pages that doesnt even require any internet connection when i am tabbing out from an online game

this doesnt happen with my Opera 12.16, my Opera17 works like wonder when i'm not tabbing out from any games..
this is very bothering me as i usually need to tab out to browse the internet when im in game
