Is there really no way to rename a Tab. It seems a common request, even in Reddit.
More to the point people are used to this modus operandi from other browsers so ignoring this request is not cleaver. We all have dozens of tabs open.
Opera team don't rest on your laurel.. 😉

In the meantime, hoovering on the closed 'tab islands' if you have active the 'tab preview', you will see what tabs you have in each group. I know it isn't ideal... but

I feel these forums are partly useless without this kind of relationship.

As for tabs islands naming (or whatever way to manually handle tabs in groups with a given names), this has been a wish from most users for years now !
There should be at least a communication from Opera team on this subject.
