I've tried to limit the lightness of the background to increase color contrast in most situations. If this still does not fix it for you, I might add a config option.

Generally, I would prefer grey text, to match the sidebar icons, but it's not an extension that needs to be used frequently, I guess, so that's a minor issue. Thanks again.

One way to not have it lag is open it in the sidebar once (and then subsequent clicks on the popup won't lag), this is definitely something weird with either just my browser or with opera itself.

Update: I checked with downloading a fresh Opera One browser, and it opens instantly in that. Definitely something bad with my gx install πŸ₯² :')

Also I've made a lot of tweaks especially for styling with opera one and air, should match your chosen accent colour now!

The update should be on the addons store soon!

There was with the enhanced address bar feature, recently, but it's back to normal for me.

I use the dark theme and the display is fine (white text, black background) with my choice of "Force dark mode on pages" from the Easy setup link in the address bar. If dark mode is not forced, then your extension's display of the workspaces and tab counts will be invisible, unless moused over to select.

With the light theme, the text is black over a light grey background.

I've tested if there is anything blocking in the extension but did not find anything. I attribute it to the new UI changes, will get in touch with Opera's team.

Btw, on opera one, how is the coloring? I noticed it looked off on a default install, will add some tweaks. (this is purely because I made this extension first for GX which does not get this issue because of a higher color contrast in the defaults)

The only problem seems to be if it's pinned to the taskbar, which stops the hide/reveal of pinned extensions functioning. But, as I have many pinned extensions already, having it on the sidebar is fine.

For ex, I have provided both a normal extension and a sidebar extension, but most others dont provide this.

Workspaces are a feature of opera gx (and other opera browsers) essential for tab organization.
Fine tab counting functionality means counting the number of tabs at a fine-grained level, i.e. per workspace.

a badge for an extension is the little number/text displayed next to it's icon in the extensions display right of the address bar.
