On Opera, you can choose between Google Search, Yahoo!, DuckDuckGo, Amazon, Bing, Wikipedia, and Qwant, but there is no way to use Ecosia as the default search engine! I'm used to using it, I was previously on Brave and wanted to switch to Opera, but the absence of this option is holding me back.
