@yesyesyes2023 If you close the tasks and try to open Opera, what happens?

Hi Leo, nothing... and this happens on multiple devices since last update. I go into task manager and 5 instances, first 4 are inactive and the 5th as 1 % activity. but no Opera... This only since last update.I have re-installed, multiple times. No effect. If it does install, all the previous tabs keep trying to open but cannot. No tabs open... There is no search function.
I often get cannot un-install! So I have to go through task manager, kill all opera processes, then go into control manager and kill it there. Then Install works.
Another hint, is that the VPN never connects. Says it is resolving the reason VPN is not connecting.
FYI. Firefox works fine. Edge works 80% of the time, then scrambles the DNS info. (I've reset the IP several times). but previous version of opera was unaffected by this.
So issue is with last Opera release. If Opera is having problems, please admit, give us a date by which it will be fixed and we can stop wasting so much time trying to fix this.

Hi, is there a general problem with Opera not running after install since last update? On several devices, including different people, we have all run into this problem.
Basically, clic on opera and "nothing". In task manager there are 5 instances "running" but none work. Uninstall and reinstall, even using offline installer does not work.
If you install it, it finds previous tabs, but they never load, neither does VPN...
This is serious... I'd appreciate a little help here...
YYY.

@yesyesyes2023 Did you try using a clean profile directory?

yes. THis is happening on multiple computers, (both my PC, my notebook) and with multiple people in our office.
When is next release?
Now, could I ask for more specifics so we're not going to do drip, drip, drip, drip, for weeks...
