<![CDATA[No sound is playing]]>Hello - I installed Opera yesterday (Opera One(version: 100.0.4815.30)) and I'm not using any extensions or addons at this time. My pc is running Win 10. I am unable to get any sound to play. I've gone through the settings and added youtube.com, instagram.com, twitch.tv and facebook.com to 'allow to play sound' in settings. I've restarted my pc and the browser several times. The sites all play fine on other browsers but Opera will not play any sound. Am I missing a setting somewhere else?

I didn't uninstall first. Then I went through and rechecked all the sound settings to make sure the defaults were correct for all applications and devices. That seemed to fix the issue.

Can you explain how I am able to hear sound being played by Edge, FF and why Opera can't? My sound card is functioning properly and my speakers are the default. Every other application on my PC can use my speakers but Opera can't. I'd really appreciate some thought to a solution.

You’ll have to be more specific. Are you talking about windows settings? Or opera settings?

I have FF streaming Twitch and I hear it. At the same time as Opera trying to play a video on YouTube and no sound plays. I reverse the links and it’s still opera that has no sound.
