I really want to make the switch from Firefox, but the audio in Opera GX feels further away and almost mono compared to Firefox and Chrome. It's a hard thing to explain, but it's a pretty big deal breaker for me and I was wondering is there any way to change the audio settings beyond just 'browser sounds'? Or is this more of a baked in issue the devs would have to fix?

If you have a stereo system 2.0 or 2.1 yes you will have no problem. On Firefox or Edge I have surround sound 5.1 on the same online movie( same site) so the problem is not my setup or settings, the problem is the browser. This issue is encountered by many others.
