So, that shouldn't matter.

Opera Sync also doesn't support syncing extensions, so that shouldn't matter either unless you're using Opera Sync and syncing preferences where preferences are getting corrupted. You can disable Opera Sync for a while to test if the problem goes away.

Does the same thing happen in a test standalone installation of Opera?

Do you have a password set for your Windows user account or do you keep it blank? Have you changed it recently? (Opera protects Extension installation and extension data based on your Windows accounts, so that's why I'm asking.)

Does it happen if you rename your profile folder and test with a new one?
