This has been ongoing as long as I have had Opera browser as a default browser on my phone (years, four different android phones).</p>
<p dir="auto">So - when deleting the download history, the actual items (pictures, documents etc) are deleted permanently from the phone, not just from the browser history.<br />
Imagine that happening on your desktop browser!?!</p>
<p dir="auto">Waiting for a fix; maybe a prompt "delete just history / delete history and items downloaded permanently".</p>
