I reached up to my screen and could not produce the "x" for closing with my finger. I either got the drop down box (adding at least one more motion & step) to close the tab , or I had to go to the touchpad and activate the cursor to move there to close each tab.
It would be so much easier if a touch produced the "x" that would allow touch closing of a tab.

Right after installation you can double-click with your mouse or double-tap with your finger anywhere in the website that you want to close. You don't double-tap the rider, just anywhere in the website.
Just installed it , so I am not sure yet how well it works in daily life. Might be an OK workaround for now.
