<p dir="auto">What the heck, did that many people ask to have this removed. Was there too little space on that massive address bar. Someone wake up and say, "here is a feature that we can just remove..." What was the thought process?<br />

<p dir="auto">It always insta-replaced the one you where in and the majority of users like it that way. I doubt there will be an option to change it to open a new tab.</p>

As usual, the insular development folks didn't bother to ask the actual people who use its platform; they just decided all by themselves that new always means eliminating old: "Hey, <strong>we</strong> know what you guys want. No need for us to ask you silly plebians."</p>

Opera: Again, if you don't want it on the top, allow us to add it to the side bar and pick the location..<br />

<p dir="auto">You can place it on the left side so the muscle memory has adapt, too but the distance between old and new position is not too far away.</p>

On the right side, it has Pinboards, Snapshot, Privacy Protection, Send to My Flow, Add to bookmarks, Downloads, ... . I would happily trade each and all of them for the Speed Dial button and of course it should open in the current tab. If I want a new tab, I will press the "+".</p>
<p dir="auto">Opera, you make a wonderful browser, but removing the Speed Dial button (or replacing it with a "new tab" clone on a sidebar which either have to take space from my browsing or "auto appear" which drives me crazy) is a massive blunder. Please, fix this ASAP!</p>
