<![CDATA[Opera GX keeps reseting the settings.]]>For some time Opera GX keeps reseting my settings, sometimes logging me out of all pages and closing all open tabs also deleting all bookmarks, this only happens with the main profile of Opera GX, every other profile i have made for Opera GX works fine and did not reset even once during that time, but the main profile is starting to annoy me with reseting so much that im on the verge of finally in after 10 years of always choosing opera to swap to a different browser.

Anyone enountered this problem? Any known or possible fixes?

Sorry for the late reply, was sick when i got my 2 week vacation from work and instead getting some deserved rest was lying in bed with a fever and clogged nose.
In the mean time i was trying to see on the standalone installation if the problem appears there, Opera fixed iteslf after one of the recent updates that happened in last 2 or so weeks and i dont have any issues right now, other than not wanting to try if Opera Sync works again or not. I dont know if it was fixed or not, but to be honest the fact that Opera Sync does not restrore open tabs and settings and only has bookmarks and speed dial restorable makes it kinda pointless to have it on anyway.

Thanks for trying to help, also in terms of if there where problems in the standalone, i idid not see any of the issues reappear in the standalone installation.

Deleting Opera Sync folder to force log out was the solution, now i dont sync anything anymore an im log out. Yes Sync was on only the main profile, but its turned off now and it still keeps happening.

I dont know what it is but last few months the quality of Opera is plummeting down. Today i noticed i cant even log in to twitch cause opera is unsupported. First the constant resetting and not keeping of settings (even with the setting to start opera on windows startup off opera sometimes starts on its own and sometimes not), now cant even use twitch. Was using Opera for over 10 years but the way it pisses me off in last 2-3 months is literally cancelling all the good in all those years.

If so, what things are you syncing? And, do you have Sync enabled in your other GX profiles with the same Opera account as you're using for Sync in your main profile?

In the main profile at least, I'd log out of Sync for a while to test if the problem goes away.
