Does anyone know where they are still available?

Is there a way to migrate an extension from one copy of Opera to another or maybe to Opera One?

Now I can only see crx files in a few years old version of chrome only. Nothing in the opera. I'll try to figure it out, maybe they're just renamed, zipped or something else.

The Profile path at opera:/about is the one I listed above. If you can actually find a crx on your installation in this way maybe you could post the path here.

Windows search - *.crx
2. Or better: write opera:/about in the address bar of opera, somewhere at the bottom of the page that opens, there will be paths to opera files
Goog luck

Yeah, it's finding that crx file that I am having trouble with. I thought maybe AppData/Roaming/Opera Software/Opera Stable/Default/Extensions should have it but I'm not finding it anywhere in AppData. I'd be grateful for any tips on where to find the crx.

V7 Notes is now (12-2023) on opera web store.

Migrating an extension from another older Opera to the current version actually works. Addons is a file named *.crx. You have to find this crx file in the installed version of opera and copy it manually.
Then you need to install the extension as a developer in the current version of opera (extensions menu, top right, turn on developer mode), preferably by dragging the crx file with the mouse.
