Should have paid more attention to keyboard shortcuts. Everything is working fine, thanks for your help

Exit from full screen mode occurs only by pressing F 11 or Esc. What you suggested doesn't work.

Maybe an extension is causing the the behavior, try checking with all of them disabled.
