<![CDATA[Speed dial doesn't have web site names inside of folders]]>Help! I just installed the new Opera 98 update. The Speed dial doesn't have web site names inside of folders. Also, the "X" close feature does not appear on the upper right side of folders, but closing the folder is possible. It's really messing with my mind.

Is this an update or a problem caused by the update? Hope it is the latter, I like light mode. The dark is visually offensive and it makes all the pages on the internet dark. I will switch back and forth from light to dark until fixed. I love Opera so hopefully it will be fixed soon.

And, by the way, night mode and dark theme are not the same thing, but it's not a discussion for this topic.

Opera has been my main browser for over 23 years and I've always only used light mode (dark doesn't suit me). Besides, as the name suggests, Dark is a night mode and is not comfortable during the day. In addition, this is not the only drawback of this update ... lowered tile view field (speed dial) and empty unused space at the top, change of tile colors (I don't know what this is for) and a few other minor shortcomings.
As for me, (this is one of the few) failed and not thought through update.

Changing the color/wallpaper does nothing. The background in the directories is always light/white and it will not change, and the names of the shortcuts are not visible.
Overall, the latest version 98.0.4759.15 is terribly messed up. 😕
I'm back to the last stable 97 and waiting for fixes.

You are not seeing text because the textfont is white...
