Version is now: 98.0.4759.6.

As can be seen in the uploaded pic, when I try to add a search for something that I am looking for this is what now pops up? I used to be able to paste in there what I had copied but mow? nothing. Have I done something silly that changed this? or, is it something that has been wrought by the new browser version?

For now you can use Ctrl V to paste something into the search field.

There is no paste functionality in that field on Win10 98.0.4759.15.

There are also a bunch of weird issues that seemed to appear in 98.0.4759.6, so someone must have broken some core code. I'm almost wondering if they started using AI to write code segments, since that's in the wind these days...

A bit of a rant, but...
In addition to this problem, I've noticed:

Weird behaviour on certain sites not present in other Chromium browsers.

Amongst these, Twitch (points and login) does not work on my end, as posted in another thread without having received confirmation from others.

Tabs sometimes copying the look of neighbouring tab (fixes itself when clicked).

Tab sound icon controls the tab indexed two tabs in front of the one you click.

Along with some unfixed bugs from earlier versions, it's a weird amount of easily noticeable bugs that are appalling to release in Stable versions of the browser. And having been pointed out, it stays for weeks or more until fixed. I am on the verge of switching my main browser after many years due to the recent negligence at Opera.

When I put the curser to the search field and right click, this picture is what I get. If I go to Google.com.au and do the exact same thing, no issue. I am guessing that the search add in to the speed dial page is at fault.
