<![CDATA[Opera Flow confirmation code not showing on desktop]]>I signed into my opera account in both my desktop and my android phone. I want to connect my phone's Flow to my desktop's flow.

My steps:

  1. Through the opera app, I tap "connect" and it opens a qr code scanner for me.
  2. Through the desktop app, I go to "Flow" sidebar -> settings -> Connect a Phone, and it gives me a qr code.
  3. I scan the qr code with my phone. The phone shows me a 6 digit confirmation code, while my desktop automatically loads up opera.com/connect which automatically redirects as my account homepage (https://auth.opera.com/account/edit-profile).
  4. I see nowhere to confirm on the desktop's end, enter the code, or anything. I only see my account page, with my profile photo, information, notification settings, current sessions, etc. I try to reopen Flow on the desktop, and it is still on the settings page. I am stuck.
  5. The phone's confirmation code times out, and it says "Failed to connect, Connection declined on your other device"

Issue: The website confirmation code page doesn't come up so I cannot confirm on my desktop end.

It works like charm with My Flow. At the time it's the only solution I found. I did it through the sidebar on PC. Have no idea what they did to brake it on other mobile Opera's, but at least it works that way.

I see no code on desktop through this method. I just see a page saying I'm "now logged in" and two buttons. Useless for connecting my devices.
@mmccall worked.
...but I don't need flow, I need my desktop device to upload its stuff into the sync storage so my mobile receives it.

It's getting annoyed. For this reason, I started to change my browser.

opera.com/connect using this link, I don't get a section for confirmation code. It says that you log in now. But I can't type my code anywhere, so I always fail to connect flow.

I never find any section to type confirmation code. I did with this link, I did via sidebar, I deleted and re-upload everything. But nope. It really drives me crazy now.

*Scan the qr code on your computer with your phone

When you get to the confirmation code page on your phone, open the app list on your android and swipe away Opera(literally close the app, right on the confirmation code screen).

Re-open Opera for Android, Flow should be linked on both devices*

Here this method worked too.

But I had to read in the Opera-forum long time and a lot of threads until I found this.
It's a shame that such an error is not fixed after years by the developers. And the cuminity needs to search for different workarounds to keep it running...

I didn't loose account connection since i don't connect the VPN before starting Opera anymore.
