<![CDATA[I got Opera Mail to work with Gmail & Yahoo]]>Not sure how many of you were using M2 last year when it stopped working with gmail and yahoo. I was one of those. I've used a couple of other mail programs since then and have been very unhappy with them.

So I took another look at why it wasn't working.

Gmail, I do have 2 step verification turned on. What you need to do is to generate an "App Password." This will be used by M2 to access your mail. You can find info here: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/185833?hl=en

Yahoo mail. pretty much the same scenario, you have to generate a password for M2. https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN15241.html

So at the moment I'm hoping I can continue to use this for awhile.
