<![CDATA[How do I stop popups from appearing?]]>I am new to Opera. I have been getting popups saying "Someone is copying files on your computer"—which is distressing. Also, multiple times, Opera asks me to update to a newer version. I cannot do that, and I have to work in an older OS so that I won't lose my Photoshop application.
I am using Opera version 71.0.3770.198
My OS is 10.12.6

When and where exactly do you see that pop-up about someone trying to copy your files?

You can search for pop-ups in settings and see if there are any exceptions listed.

Don't know if that's the last one for your system.

Maybe it's just an ad?

Does "And current stable version is 97" refer to Opera?
And are you suggesting the version I am using is "unstable"?
