<![CDATA[[Duplicated][Tab Bar] Make moving tabs around less finicky]]>This is more or less a bug report, I think, or at the very least a suggestion on how to improve user experience... Opera really wants you to drop the tab at the exact pixel it feels like it's the best, and that's insanely frustrating.

  • It's not possible to drop a tab at the end of the tab list for some reason
  • When dropping on the tab bar, but not on top of other tabs, it will not be dropped on that window. Instead, it will stay as a separate window (it should become the last tab instead)
  • When dropping the tab outside the window to create a new window, it should spot the location where it was dropped and create the window there and not on the same position of the original window

Asking because the latest updates have just bought more issues and I will be forced to change my browsers if these things are not being fixed.

So, is there any ETA for these issues with tabs to be fixed?
Or is the developer's viewpoint that there aren't any issues, but just features?

I've got normal tabs to the left of the pinned tabs and tabs after the new tab button!

This topic was created before the rebranding, but some of the issues I had back then are still relevant. I still can't see why this was marked as duplicate and the mods refuse to indicate where the main topic is!

Moving tabs in Egde for example is a much better experience, it just works and feels good. I wish Opera developers would spend some time to examine how other browser do it, and then update Opera to modern standards in regarding this.
