That search in tabs icon has been there for a very, very long time. Some users have just never noticed it until recently because of the known tab bar bug where Opera doesn't leave a space between the + button and that icon when you have a lot of tabs open. As in, it's not the search-in-tabs button/icon that's taking up the space; that button/icon has been there for a long time. It's just a bug with Opera not leaving a space between it and the + button.

The problem with the lack of space to drag the window is a know issue and will be fixed as said.

And general search and search in tabs are already separated.

When there is more than 8 tabs I can't move browser window .. that's irritating.

Or do separation between search function and tabs.
